Don't Let Your Weight Stop You from Doing These 7 Things ...

Holly

Virtually every woman on the planet is insecure about her weight. We all want to look a certain way, and while it's great that you're trying to lose weight to feel healthier, you shouldn't wait until you're thinner to do certain things. Everything that you could do as a skinny person, you can do right now, too. Never let your weight (or your insecurity) stop you from doing these 7 things:

1. Wearing a Two Piece

You don't have to wait until you drop ten pounds to buy that gorgeous two piece you saw at the store. There's no rule that says you need to wear a one-piece, or avoid wearing a bathing suit altogether, just because you're a little heavier than the other women at the beach. You can rock a two piece, no matter how big or small you are. Don't be afraid to show the world your beautiful skin.

2. Going on Dates

Don't use your weight as an excuse to avoid talking to your crush. If you like someone, you should go after them. You don't have to lose weight or apply ten pounds of makeup before you start a conversation with them. You want them to like you for your personality, anyway. If a guy won't go out with you while you're heavy, then he's not worth going out with at all.

Frequently asked questions

3. Going to the Gym

Even though the gym is your ticket to losing weight, it can be scary to enter one when everybody else with a membership has muscles. However, you shouldn't pay attention to the strangers exercising around you. They're there to work out, not to make fun of you. If they glance at you, they're probably just admiring your willingness to change your lifestyle.

4. Wearing a Revealing Dress

There aren't any clothes that are reserved for thin people. If you want to wear a crop top, you can. If you want to wear a tight dress, you can. Don't let your weight hold you back from rocking an awesome outfit. You're allowed to wear anything you want to wear.

5. Eating a Snack

You're allowed to treat yourself to dessert. You don't have to deprive yourself of all of the foods you love, just because you're trying to lose weight. No, you can't eat entire gallons of ice cream every week, but you can certainly indulge in a cone or two when you feel like it.

6. Getting Pictures Taken

Don't avoid taking selfies, because you think you look ugly. You're a beautiful woman, no matter how big or small you are. If you want to capture a fun moment, then snap that picture. Don't miss out on the chance to get likes on Instagram.

7. Loving Yourself

You're worthy of love, despite how many insecurities you have. You can't wait until you're skinny to say that you love yourself. You should love yourself right now, because you're a beautiful person inside and out. You need to realize that you're a valuable human being, because you deserve to be loved, especially by yourself.

You can't let your self-consciousness get in the way of your happiness. Have you ever let your weight stop you from doing something in the past? Then maybe it's time to push your fears aside and go do that thing right now!

I am fat really fat but I know that I am gonna be who I am and I am a not gonna listen to other people be u other people who make fun of me r not the people who love me. People who love me r people who r fine with my weight and they still love me. And those r the only people who will matter to me In the end.

@peony blue, You should really work on your typos, so that your message could never be "misconstrued". Now, I am finished! Thank you and Bye Bye! Wink wink.....

@Holly Riordan: I love you're attitude!

@RhondaJames I am.a little lost with your comment?!?

Adele is fat but nothing stops her.

This woman isn't really that big! It's sad that our ignorant society is so stuck on thin, that a normal voluptuous woman is considered overweight.

@Hepburn Fashion hahahha girl you are funny and I am glad you responded. I was being annoyingly silly and sorry and this post is here to give our point of views so sorry if I sounded rude.

@peony blue, If you are saying that one should go to the gym to keep healthy, that is one thing, but to go to the gym to look like someone else, does not make sense. And quite frankly, a comment like that has no relevance in an article about loving yourself, no matter your size.

@Hepburn Fashion. What are you the person who read between the lines which doesn't exist??? 'If you go to the yum you will....'It is what it is. When someone says they are going to the gym what do you think they are going to do there exactly? Work out Yey! So I don't know what on earth you are taking about but if you need to misconstrued my comments feel free not to make a comment on what I say and no I don't need a response from you either. Thanks and bye bye. And yes I am still a little lost with your comment still Hut don't worry please don't respond.
