1 Stick to Water

It can be a tough trade at times, but you’ll see such a big difference in both your weight and your health when you make the switch!

2 Eat a Fruit or Vegetable with Every Meal

If you’re not pumping your body full of healthy vitamins and nutrients, you’re not going to lose weight. If you don’t think you’re getting enough fruits and vegetables, make a conscious effort to add at least one fruit or vegetable to all of your meals.

3 Swap out Your Coffee for Water with Lemon

This is definitely a tough switch if you’re a coffee addict, but try switching from coffee every morning to hot water with lemon. Sure, it doesn’t have the caffeine that coffee does, but you’ll notice a difference in your overall demeanor (and your waistband!). Hot water with lemon will mellow you out and make you feel calmer every morning, even if you’re running late!

4 Stick to Salads at Restaurants

It can be such a big sacrifice when you’re used to ordering big pasta dishes or other foods filled with carbs, but it will make all of the difference. Plus, they’re probably a lot tastier than salads you’d make yourself at home!

5 Get Dressing on the Side

However, if you love dressing on salad, make a conscious decision to get it on the side, otherwise your salad could be just as unhealthy as that burger you really wanted to order!

6 Avoid the Snack Aisles

Avoiding foods like chips and cookies at the grocery store makes it a lot easier to skip buying them and instead buy fresh foods like fruits and vegetables. You’d be surprised just how easy it is to avoid those aisles!

7 Try a Class That You’ve Always Been Too Scared to Try

How about a fruit and two vegetables at every meal? One of either isn't gonna cut it.

Getting into a routine I have found is very important for sticking to your weight loss goals. Also, breakfast is key!! Make it a high protein breakfast so you'll be full until lunch. Walking helps a lot too, avoid the elevator and take the stairs next time .. It all adds up and you'll notice the difference in no time :)

I found that cutting portion sizes really helped! A lot of the time you don't realise how many calories are in your food until you start tracking how much you eat
