It’s easy to feel virtuous when you have a smoothie for breakfast or for an afternoon snack, but not all them qualify as healthy. In fact, many smoothies, especially those you buy at juice bars, contain several hundred, even up to a thousand calories in one cup. You know why that’s a problem, right? Yep! Too many calories equal unhealthy weight gain. Fortunately, making your own smoothies makes it easy to blend up a healthy cup full of deliciousness. Each of these recipes contains less than 100 calories! Enjoy!
What could be better than a smoothie that contains only 50 calories? Not much. This smoothie is full of flavor, but low in calories so you can enjoy it for a snack or with your meal without undoing all of your hard work to lose weight.
