Okay, so there are some serious ways to revamp your space for weight loss success. If you are living in a home filled with cookies, candy and chips, you are going to find it difficult to stick to eating healthy. But if you remove temptation, you can set yourself up for health success by filling your home with greens, fruits and whole grains. By practicing this, you will not feel like you are missing out. If you restructure your home, you will find it much easier to live healthier and stay on track to achieve great results. The same philosophy goes for exercise equipment, because it is much easier to stay on track if you have a space in your home dedicated to fitness. As a certified trainer, I have helped to transform thousands of lives and now I am here to share with you the ways to revamp your space for weight loss success:
1. What’s in Your Food Pantry
If your food pantry is filled with junkie snacks and you are wondering why you feel so tempted, maybe it is time to clean it out and restock your pantry the healthy way. One of the best ways to revamp your space for weight loss success is to fill your pantry with healthy snacks like whole grains. Also make sure to stock your refrigerator with plenty of fruits and veggies so you can begin your transformation!
2. Who Cleans Your Home
I would love to have a maid come in to clean my home at least once a week and scrub my home from floor to ceiling, but the reality is they probably would not do the same job I do. Or if they did clean to the same high standard, I would feel guilty. House cleaning is a workout and when you complete the cleaning chores, it reaps some major rewards to see a shiny, clean home that you achieved. So get scrubbing!
3. How Often do You Climb the Stairs
There are many times throughout the day when I am tired and the last thing I want to do is run up and down my stairs, but climbing stairs is a great way to burn calories. So use your home as part of your workout and get climbing. I walk up and down the stairs to make beds, carry laundry, lay out kids clothes for the next day and to change the baby. I find reasons to climb the stairs so I can add an extra workout in the day. This is a great way to help you to reach your goals!
4. Where do You Work out
If you drive 45 minutes to your gym every day after a long grueling day at work, you may find yourself lacking motivation to stick to your fitness program. The best thing you can do for yourself is create a backup plan and dedicate a workout space in your home. All you really need is a towel or a yoga mat, a set of weights and lot of energy! So after a long day of work, if you find yourself driving straight home, you can skip the gym but not skip your workout. You deserve great results, so make fitness your priority!
5. Where do You Relax
We all need a little down time, especially at the end of a long day at work. So after you work out, put your feet up and read a book. To keep yourself motivated, read a book on weight loss stories or even new workouts. This will help keep you in the right mindset for success!
6. What Are You Drinking
If you find yourself making a margarita each night to unwind and are wondering why you are not losing weight, maybe you need to ditch that drink and have some water. The occasional drink will not break the scale, but the routine drink will have you gaining weight or stuck in a slump. So make sure to live life in moderation and make the most of each day without overdoing any food or drinks.
7. Do You Have a Nighttime Ritual
Kids love bedtime routines with stories, baths and being tucked in to bed, so what about adults? Adults have better success if they also follow a routine, so why not take a warm shower or bath, write down all that you have achieved today and shut your eyes early so you can wake up the next day for a workout. Get into a healthy routine so that you can achieve weight loss success!
Now that you are aware of the many ways you can revamp your space to achieve success, are you ready to transform your health and your life? You can do anything you dedicate yourself to, so get going!
