Lose Weight in a Week with This Vegan Challenge ...

By Tara

Want to try something extreme for weight loss this week like a vegan challenge? For the vegans out there, it is second nature to eat beans, nuts, and whole grains after giving up dairy and meats. But for the non-vegans that start their day with eggs for breakfast (this is me), have a grilled chicken for lunch, Greek yogurt for a snack and fish for dinner; going vegan for a week will be extreme. But if you are trying to lose weight and detoxify your body, it will be worth it! So, do you think this will be a week of starvation and diet deprivation? Actually, quite the opposite; most vegans never go hungry because they are constantly snacking on mini meals that consist of seeds, greens and beans. And since a natural vegan diet is without chemicals or artificial sweeteners, you will fit into your skinniest jeans in no time! So are you ready to do a 7 day vegan challenge for weight loss?

Where Thoughts and Opinions Converge

Veganism is NOT a diet.

I would like to try this!!! Would it cost a lot? And also is it healthy or dangers your body? Thanks xx

I think I may want to try this. My husband wouldn't consider it. He'd never ever give up meat. I'd like to lose 12lbs, so perhaps next week I'll give it a go.

Sounds great! Must try. Xx

I've been vegan for about 3 months and wow do I feel amazing. I remember my first week. I lost 5 pounds! I loaded up on water and green tea as well. I was ADDICTED to fast food and large portions. When I became a vegan It was tough. But as soon as I started filling my belly with water I didn't feel like I was eating less when in reality I was eating a healthy amount, snacks are key for vegans as well as planning out your meals. I cannot stress packing your lunch. If I don't pack my lunch before school I'm stuck eating potato chips for lunch. There are usually no vegan items on the lunch menu. So when I come home i pig out... Usually on non vegan items. I hope you all try going vegan. It's the best thing I have done! :) xx
