10 Moves to Lose 10 Pounds Instantly ...

How do you get rid of that bit of extra weight that seems to hang around your waistline due to stress or simply falling into a workout rut? To help give your metabolism a boost and keep you from throwing in the towel, perform these exercises that will end your sleepy routine and get your body fired up to kick those excess pounds to Neverland!

To be successful, don't forget to incorporate these simple and effective lifestyle changes as well. Remember that what you eat is more than three quarters of the battle in your weight loss and wellness success. So eat healthy! Divide your body weight in pounds in half. Drink that number of ounces of water a day. Also make a goal of getting 6 to 8 hours of sleep daily. And most importantly make time for yourself.

Have a seat my favorite way in a squat hold to tone your lower half, build strength and get in better shape. By building lean muscle you will quicken your metabolism and lose weight as a result. This is a great way to kick 10 pounds to the curb. Perform a 2-3 minute squat hold four days per week.

7 Jumping Jacks

Jumping jacks are one of the most timeless exercises to boost your metabolism, raise your heart rate and get you in super shape. Perform jumping jacks as a dynamic warm up before your cardio routine. Three minutes of jumping jacks will help warm up your body to prepare for a great workout. And get moving to lose your 10 pound weight loss goal!

8 Half Moons

This move is great because it burns calories, which are needed to drop those last 10 pounds, but half moons also activate the muscles throughout your body, allowing you to tone up at the same time. To do the move, start in the traditional push up position. Reach your right leg out to the side, then swing your left leg over next to the right. Continue until you have turned your body 180 degrees, then switch sides and go back the other way.

9 Plank Dips

This move is awesome for burning off those last 10 pounds and defining your muscles at the same time. Start in the push up position, then lift your right hand off the floor, and lower your forearm to the floor, activating your core to keep you stable. Make sure your elbow stays under your shoulder. Return to the starting position and repeat the move on the left side, alternating back and forth for a couple of minutes. You're going to feel it, that's for sure!

10 Break Dancer

If you've always wanted to be a break dancer, you are going to love this move. It will burn calories to help you get rid of excess fat, but it also tones up your body at the same time. Start on all fours, swing your left leg under your hips and reach your foot toward the ceiling. Tap your left foot with your right hand. Return to the starting position and do the move on the other side. Continue alternating for several minutes.
