1. Turkey Burger with Apple

Grill a 5 ounce turkey burger and put this on a whole wheat light bun. Layer lettuce, a slice of tomato and an apple slice to get some veggies, protein and pectin for weight loss. Enjoy all this for less than 425 calories! This tops my meals for weight loss because it tastes amazing and I love it!

2. Pear Spinach Salad

For just 340 calories, some pectin, fiber and lots of flavor, enjoy my pear spinach salad! Chop 1 pear, add a teaspoon of oil, vinegar, mustard and honey into a bowl and mix to create dressing. Then put spinach, onion, 1 tablespoon of walnuts, a handful of goat cheese, sliced pears and dressing into a large bowl and toss gently to coat. Serve immediately for a great weight loss salad filled with lots of flavor for you to enjoy!

I love making my own pizza because it is a lot of fun for the family as they can help, it is easy and it is healthier since I can control all the ingredients. I use a whole wheat wrap, marinara sauce to cover the wrap and just enough skim organic cheese to cover the wrap. To jazz up the taste add a sprinkle of oregano and garlic. Spoon this mixture down the center of a whole wheat tortilla; roll up and enjoy!

For less than 300 calories, toss 1 cup shredded cooked organic chicken with 1/4 cup prepared chunky salsa and spoon into a whole wheat tortilla wrap with a sprinkle skim mozzarella and 2 pieces of spinach or romaine lettuce. This tastes great served with veggie slices on the side!

6. Strawberry Goat Cheese Salad

Whisk 1 teaspoon of maple syrup (or brown sugar), 1 teaspoon of vinegar, 1 teaspoon of oil, and a ¼ teaspoon of salt in a large bowl. Add 1 cup of spinach, ¼ cup of watercress, ¼ cup of strawberries and 1 teaspoon of chives; toss to coat. Sprinkle with a teaspoon of pecans and a teaspoon of goat cheese. I love this salad because it tastes great and I love it even more because it is only 215 calories! How's that for loving a great weight loss meal!

7. Veggie Wrap

For just 230 calories you can enjoy this wrap that everyone will want to know how to recreate. Why? Because it looks and tastes just that good! Spread 1 teaspoon hummus over an 8 inch whole wheat tortilla. Layer this wrap with salad greens, onion, cucumber, sprouts and carrot. Drizzle with low fat vinaigrette. Roll up tightly and enjoy every delicious bite to a leaner you!
