Find Your Inspiration

If you want to know how to make yourself workout every day, you need to find inspiration, a vision or goal that you can keep in mind on those (hopefully infrequent) days when the couch, rather than the gym, is calling your name. For me, it’s a photo of the bikini I want this summer, stuck to the fridge. What is it for you?

Find a Friend!

If you can’t seem to make yourself workout every day, perhaps you know someone who can. We all have that endlessly perky, motivated, fit friend… why not enlist her aid? She can provide the much-needed motivation, you can provide the post-workout smoothies.

Pay for It

Trust me, if I pay for my gym membership, I am going to use it every single day. If you share that embarrassing frugality, it may be the key to make yourself workout every day, too. I know it works for me!

Pump up the Jams

I have a play-list on my iPod that I only allow myself to listen to while I’m at the gym. It’s loaded with all of my favorite songs, so it’s kind of a built-in workout reward. This might also be a great way to make yourself workout every day!

Lay It out and Pack It up

I used to use the excuse that I didn’t have the time to pack m gym bag in the rush to get ready for work… until one of my friend suggested laying out my workout clothes and packing my gym bag the night before. She was right, of course, and I have yet to think of a replacement excuse.

Plan It into Your Day

If you plan the gym into your day, and get into the habit of working out on a regular basis, then you’ll almost trick yourself, rather than make yourself workout everyday. Habits are hard to break, and once you’ve formed this scheduled habit, you’ll find it disconcerting to break it.

Make It Exciting

If your routine is exciting, you’ll find you won’t have to make yourself workout every day — you’ll actually look forward to it! If you need a little kick to make your workout more fun, try changing it up with a new move, a new class, a new play-list, or a new gym buddy.

Track Your Progress

Maybe you wouldn’t have to make yourself workout every day if you knew the difference each day could make. Well, there’s an app for that! In fact, there are several apps for that. Download a few fitness tracking apps and use them to see which one you like best, then refer to it and see how much progress you’ve made, comparing one day one week to another day the next. Or even one day last year to that same day this year! It’s amazing!

With so many fun ways to make yourself workout every day, you’ll find your off-days will be far outnumbered by your rocking-it days very soon! I recenly decided to go on a diet because I want to get thinner. I do manage, but the problem is, is that I love chocolate sooo much. I can't go through a day with no chocolate! So, i do indoor cycling and i loose minimum 300 calories per day, and maximum 500. Then the next morning, I weigh myself, and I'm heavier! I guess it is because of the muscle. How do you loose weight WITHOUT gaining muscle. If you would answer me, It will help me loadss. THX.
