4. Mediterranean Diet

This one has studies done showing how healthy it is. It can help with weight loss, yes, but it does more than that. It lowers your chance of a heart attack, type 2 diabetes, and premature death. The theory behind this diet is eating traditional foods from Greece and Italy in the 1960s. This cuts out processed foods and added sugars. You also don’t have to count calories on this diet.
