22 Best Exercises for a Perfect Butt …

22. Buttock Pinches

Cousin Balki was right: buttock pinches can be a good workout! Start by standing tall, with your feet together. Raise yourself on your tip-toes, then “punch” your butt together, hold for five seconds, then lower yourself back down. It’s also a good calf workout!

With so many marvelous exercises for your butt, there’s no reason to fret over a little sag here or there — tighten it up, Tootsie, and let’s see how good you look in those skinny jeans this fall! Remember to combine these butt exercises with a balanced diet and plenty of cardio and you’ll have the toniest tush on the block! Which of these exercises for your butt do you like best? Do tell!

And something you would definitely love Ways to loose stomach fat!

I have looked at these pictures for a few weeks now…. I have read the comments…. I have to say that maybe some of the pics are airbrushed….that does not mean they are photoshoped. ... See more I am sometimes sad when I see the pics…but truthfully that is because my butt no longer looks like that. However, at the age of 19-26 I had a butt that looked just like #2. I can say that with only a small sigh…. I have an ex-husband who would vouch for that & a few pics, that I won’t be sharing :), so please do not knock the pics or the girls. Most FITNESS models have worked hard for their bodies and some of it is their youth, but IF you work hard you will have a better body, self-image and better health than you do now and that is what is important. I am motivated (insert 20 year class reunion here) to get back to someplace smaller & healthier. So thank you for the motivation. Please even if YOUR body type is never going to be this way, remember that some are, and the most important point is a BETTER YOU!!!!!

Amen! Just like one shouldn’t be insulted for having a bad body, nor should one be criticized for having a toned & fit body!

Right, I agree with you, I know I’m never going to look like the girls in the photos (and never did ha ha), but with hard work I can really work on and improve what I do have.

I love your attitude when it comes to exercise. It really is never too late to take control of your health. And yes, the main goal ... See more of exercising is not to achieve the perfect body; it is to achieve overall health. The great body, if you get it, is just a great perk. Merry Christmas to you and your family!

It depends on your experience in fitness. I’ve done sports and been active all my life, which means I’ve done my fair share in plank exercises. The highest I’ve held a front plank is 20minutes. ... See more I was out of shape when I began at 3min, but keep in mind muscle memory. Most people that are not familiar with the feeling from a plank have a hard time doing just 30sec-1min. With my experience, I suggest to anyone no matter the level you are starting at, slowly add time each day, or if that’s too challenging, once a week. At 3 minutes, I would begin adding 1min a day until I could hold it for 10min each time. Then I got to the point where I would just start going as long as I could instead of putting restrictions on myself. And what do you know, I reached my long time goal of 20min and then I had no desire to push my body anymore :). Anyone can do it, you just have to be willing to work for it. It’s a great overall core workout.

Hello Anonymous. Yup, the plank is hard especially when you’re starting out. What’s the longest time you’ve been able to hold the plank?

Thank you for reading us! Glad you like the suggestions.

Hey. so i go to a physical therapist for back problems. One of the exercises she told me to do was the front plank. And it is really hard. Since its so complicated for me ... See more she said instead of using your whole body(look at picture) you could start at your knees. Kinda like how some people that find push ups hard do the half push ups. I don’t know if its as effective but it is easier. It still makes me shake lol. I’m getting a little scared though cuz next time I see her she’s gonna make me do the whole front plank the normal way from now on. But maybe you could do that too first start out easier than make it harder and harder.

Hi Singin Girl. Thanks for that tip. To be honest, I kinda forgot about that technique. Doing push ups or the plank on the knees first does make it a bit easier. And I think ... See more you still shake because your core muscles are not that strong yet. I’m guessing that the stronger you get, the less you shake. By the way, what happened to your back?

I hope to hear from you again!
